How it works

After initial training has been completed, you will be able to approach the schools/venues in your area and arrange to run Technokids sessions for their children.

As a Technokids Franchisee you will have the opportunity to run clubs

before-school, at lunchtime and after-school.

You will be able to create a schedule of sessions to suit your needs.

We will provide training in:

How to purchase, configure and maintain your equipment

How to approach schools and meet their requirements

How to market the sessions to parents

How to run the lessons

How to manage the back office/admin tasks required

It works because..

- the vast majority of schools we work with are very pleased with the service we provide and are happy to continue hosting our sessions on an ongoing basis.

- the vast majority of children/parents who enroll then go on to renew their booking and continue attending for many terms (and indeed for many years)!

- our progressive curriculum always offers something new to learn, with lots of variety and exciting challenges contained in every module.

- we've been doing this for a long time, so we know how to help you implement our program and manage it effectively.

Essentially, we'll show you how to get set up and running in such a way that will make your business effective, enjoyable and profitable.

A typical day

Most sessions take place during term time. The core sessions of your schedule would normally be at lunchtime and after school, Monday-Friday:

Lunchtime: 12:15-13:15 - 2 x 30 minutes sessions at a Primary school

Afternoon: 3:30-4:30 1 x 60 minute session at a Primary school

However, there are ample opportunities to increase your hours, running extra sessions as follows:

Morning: 8:00-8:45 1 x 45 minute session before-school club

Morning: 10am-11am  - 2 x 30 minutes sessions at a Nursery or pre-prep school

Lunchtime: 12:15-13:15 - 2 x 30 minutes sessions at a Primary school

Afternoon 1: 3:30-4:30 -1 x 60 minute session at a Primary school

Afternoon 2: 5:30-6:30 - 1 x 60 minute session at a local library

So a normal week during term time might contain an average of 2-3 sessions/hours per day (10-15 sessions/hours per week), but could potentially be up to 20-25 hours of teaching.

There is also the chance to offer in-house curriculum provision for independent schools during normal lesson time (these can be for 3 or 4 hours at a time).

In addition, there is the potential to run Saturday morning and Holiday clubs outside of term-time. The possibilities are endless!

And one of the great things about being a Technokids Franchisee is that the focus is very much on spending time with the children in class.

There is not a mountain of admin that needs to be done to support your lessons - no reports to write, no need to chase payments or create marketing campaigns. We have created a package that you can use to run your schedule smoothly and efficiently, with regular updates and improvements built-in.
